Two things people mean by "split"
Sometimes you want one page out of a long document — page 4 of a lease, the invoice at the back of a statement. Enter a range and you get a single PDF containing exactly those pages, in order.
Sometimes you want the document broken apart entirely. Choose a separate PDF for every page and each one arrives as its own numbered file, downloadable individually or as one zip.
The pages you extract are usually the private ones
Extracting a page is normally an act of redaction: sending someone the one page they need instead of the whole bank statement. It would be a strange privacy improvement to upload the entire statement to a website in order to do it. Everything here happens in your browser.
Questions
How do I write a page range?
Use numbers, dashes and commas: 1-3, 7, 10- means pages one to three, page seven, and page ten to the end. Pages come out in ascending order with duplicates removed.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied from the original document, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
Can I split several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add multiple documents and the same page selection is applied to each.
Is my document uploaded?
No. The split runs in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
